MOBILE BIDDING IS LIVE!

If auction packages don’t incite your interest, it’s because you’ve never seen the caliber of the GRACE Gala Silent, Big Board and Live Auctions. Maybe we’re a bit partial, but the Auction Committee has been hard at work to not only ensure that everyone falls in love with the items, but that EVERYONE has access—whether you attend the Gala or not! Cyber auction guests can start bidding now on coveted items, set a maximum bid to stay in the game, and start outbidding their friends for packages like autographed  sporting goods, VIP experiences, royal spa packages and celebrity-worthy merchandise. Above all, GRACE is grateful to the many businesses who have so generously given their best products and services to support the mission of GRACE. A once-in-a-lifetime trip or experience is a priceless thing to joy, but priceless still is the opportunity to make an impact on the life of a

SUPPORTERS PEDAL WITH A PURPOSE

Fifty GRACE staff and supporters got their blood pumping for a cause earlier this month. ZYN22 in Southlake hosted a charity event that gave 100% of the full-body workout session and retail purchases to support GRACE programs. At ZYN22, they don’t call it the “ride of your life” for nothing. The premium indoor cycling venue believes in the uplifting power of cardio and weight training to the beat of dynamic Classic Rock. If that doesn’t motivate you, a well-deserved, post workout mimosa and aromatherapy towel might. The creativity of local franchises and small businesses to support GRACE programming is a prime example of what it means to employ your talents and resources to make the community a better place for families struggling in our midst. A special thanks to the staff at ZYN22, and those who were willing to break a sweat to provide local families the essentials they need

It would come as no surprise that the kings of dining, The Hartnett Group, would be this year’s Dinner Feature Sponsor for the GRACE Gala. The Hartnett Group is the genius behind your favorite local restaurants, including Bob’s Steak & Chop House, Flips Patio Grill, Mi Dia, and Winewood Grill. The Hartnett family has seemed to master every cuisine imaginable, from a decadent brunch, prime ‘cote de boeuf’ bone-in ribeye, to juicy hamburgers and authentic Latin American fare. As longtime supporters of GRACE, The Hartnett Group’s investment as the Dinner Feature Sponsor raises funds to ensure that no family in our community go without food, shelter, clothing and medical care. When Winewood premiered it’s now-famous brunch menu among nearly two hundred of the area’s finest food connoisseurs, The Harnett Group seized the opportunity to launch an awareness campaign event for GRACE’s annual Holiday Food Drive to families in need. AN EASIER WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

United Way of Tarrant County is making it easier for employees to make a difference through their charitable workplace designation. Effective immediately, United Way of Tarrant County takes no fees on donor designations. That’s right, 100% of all donations designated through employee charitable campaigns go directly to the charity selected. What that means for you is if you are employed at a business that hosts a United Way giving campaign, nothing is withheld from the donation you designate to a United Way agency, including a donation to GRACE. United Way is an affiliation that strategically partners with select organizations that target the root causes of societal issues and reinvests into local solutions. United Way also monitors their affiliates to ensure the funds are properly stewarded and reflect positive, measurable outcomes.

Marta encompasses all the criteria of this award. FAMILY FOUNDATION FUNDS GRACE PROGRAMS

Our hearts our filled by the generosity the Janning family. The Janning Family Foundation was established to foster planned giving from generation to generation. Grantors Elizabeth and Jason Jennings explained that Jason’s father established the fund so that his children and grandchildren can embark on a journey to give to local causes that matter most to them. Once a family member reaches the age of 12, he or she becomes a stakeholder and contributes research and feedback on the organizations they wish to support. This year GRACE was awarded $10,000 to fund GRACE programs for local families. “We’re especially touched that this family is instilling intentional, personal giving at such a young age,” says Executive Director Shonda Schaefer. “What a unique legacy to know that your family gives the opportunity for another family to overcome obstacles and continue their own legacy.” Elizabeth Janning has volunteered behind the scenes at the
