Emergency Assistance
GRACE provides emergency assistance to over 1200 families per year who are faced with financial challenges due to low-income or recent emergency. Aid is given on an as-needed basis, up to four times per year. This program provides food, clothing, toiletries, household goods, furniture, financial assistance, and information/referrals to those in need. Monthly supplemental food is offered for seniors and the disabled.

Outreach to Health Community Clinic
Outreach to Health is a comprehensive program that provides a holistic approach to health care for families who do not have access to traditional medical care. A dedicated staff of volunteer physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers operate the clinic each Tuesday night. The clinic provides the following services: routine office visits and health screenings, medications, specialist referrals, diagnostic testing and lab services, dietary consultations, and general health education. As appropriate, patients are referred to Tarrant County's John Peter Smith Health Network. Transitional Housing
The transitional housing program allows homeless families to enjoy clean, stable housing for up to two years while they work toward independence. Housing clients participate in intensive case management, pursuing educational, career, and financial goals during their stay. All activities are aimed at self-determination and eventual self-sufficiency.

Tech Center
The Tech Center is a low-cost technology training program available to GRACE clients, staff, volunteers, and general community members. The program offers beginner, intermediate, and expert level classes for basic computer skills. Classes are offered on weekends and evenings in order to facilitate the work schedules of students, and most courses are taught by volunteer instructors. The Tech Center also utilizes skilled volunteers to refurbish donated used computers, which are given to clients who complete an entire series of classes.

Seasonal Programs
In addition to GRACE’s year-round programs, clients, volunteers, and donors can participate in the following seasonal opportunities

--Back to School Supply Drive

--Holiday Food Distribution assures that all area households are able to serve Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to their families. Food baskets include everything needed to prepare a home-cooked holiday meal!
--Christmas Cottage
allo
ws parents to choose gifts for their children at Christmas time. Clients are given vouchers to shop in a store-like setting filled with new donated items and toys.

Resale
GRACE operates a successful resale program which funds a large portion of the annual budget. We receive so many donations from our community that the supply is greater than the client demand! Donations are received and sorted at the Donation Station, then distributed to GRACE programs. Whatever is left over is sold at one of our two resale shops: GRACEful Buys and A Touch of GRACE.
